In this Customizing activity, you assign a section code group to a section code. The system uses this setting for tax calculation and tax reporting purposes.

A company has a site in Mumbai where its headquarters is located, and another factory in Pune:

  • The headquarters pays taxes to the local tax office in Mumbai
  • The factory pays taxes to the local tax office in Pune
  • Both these entities are assigned the same TAN

The system makes the following entries:






SUBST_MERGE_LIST - merge external lists to one complete list with #if... logic for R3up   BAL_S_LOG - Application Log: Log header data
