In this Customizing activity, you define which company IDs you are allowed to enter in the Trading Partner field when you edit business partners. The company IDs help you to structure your company for consolidation purposes.

You have to carry out this Customizing activity if one of the following cases apply:

• You replicate business partner data tothe CRM system froma source system in which the company ID has been customized.

• You replicate business partner data fromthe CRM system toa target system in which the company ID has been customized.

Ensure that the companies you enter in this Customizing activity are identical to the companies you enter in the corresponding Customizing activity in the source/target system of the replication.
