V_GLOFAA_JPNAD0 - Define New Additional Depreciation Solution for Annex 16-1 and 16-2

Japan: You use this activity to define the new additional depreciation solution for Annex 16-1 and 16-2.

You use this activity to define the new additional depreciation solution for Annex 16-1 and 16-2.

Once the new additional depreciation solution is defined, Area Type 5 (UPA OFF mode) and country/region-specific Valuation View Type JP15 (UPA ON mode) that specify tax without additional depreciation will be obsoleted.

Instead of taking depreciation area that defined as Area Type 5 or Valuation View Type JP15 for calculation, this new solution fetches Shift FactorANLZ-MSFAK (UPA OFF mode) or FAAT_MD_VAL_TDD- MULTIPLE_SHIFT (UPA ON mode) from asset master and takes it as additional depreciation rate.

The calculation methods of the following fields, which are different from the old solution, are illustrated as below:

• Annex 16 (1)

• Field 21 = Field 23 x 1/Shift Factor

• Field 22 = Field 23 − Field 21

• Field 27 = Field 29 x 1/Shift Factor

• Field 28 = Field 29 − Field 27

• Annex 16 (2)

• Field 21 = Field 23 x 1/Shift Factor

• Field 22 = Field 23 – Field 21

• Field 31 = Field 33 x 1/Shift Factor

• Field 32 = Field 33 – Field 31

The value is rounded based on the rounding method T093B-METRND(UPA OFF mode) or FAAC_CMP_DA0- ROUND_METHOD (UPA ON mode).
