V_INM_ST_PATH - Maintain DFM Status Change Sequence
General Data in Customer Master ABAP Short ReferenceThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
In this Customizing activity, you can define the mapping rules for performing the status synchronization from a source object to a target object. The status synchronization is maintained in the form of the sequence of DFM business transactions that need to be executed to bring the target object from the start DFM status to the end DFM status.
You can configure the start and end DFM statuses for each source and target object pair.
- The mappings from the source object status to the central DFM status and the mappings from the target object status to the central DFM status have been maintained in the following Customizing activities:
- The DFM business transactions available between a source and target pair have been configured in
the Customizing activities under
Synchronous and Asynchronous Status Synchronization.>
You need to maintain status synchronization between a project definition and a portfolio item. The Start DFM status is Created and the End DFM status is Completed. To set the status synchronization mapping rules for the portfolio item status to change from created to completed, you maintain the DFM business transactions in the following order:
1) Release
2) Complete
To maintain these two DFM business transactions, you make the following entries:
1) Release
Source Grouping: PD
Target Grouping: PPO
DFM Start Status: I1700 (Created)
DFM End Status: I1702 (Completed)
Sequence: 1
DFM Business Transaction: DFM1 (Release)
2) Complete
Source Grouping: PD
Target Grouping: PPO
DFM Start Status: I1700 (Created)
DFM End Status: I1702 (Completed)
Sequence: 2
DFM Business Transaction: DFM3 (Complete)
This ensures that if the current status of the portfolio item is mapped to DFM status Created
and the target status of the portofolio item is mapped to DFM status Completed,
then the DFM business transactions DFM1 (Release) and DFM3 (Complete)are executed in order on the portfolio item object.
