V_LMDCOMPLNTGRP - Define Plant Groups

In this Customizing activity, you can define plant groups. Plant groups are used to group several plants together, which facilitates the customer sales transaction type (CSTT) configuration. Once you have defined plant groups, you can set configurations for an entire plant group instead of setting them for every single plant. However, the use of plant groups is optional.

Plant groups are required for the Customizing activity Assign Plants to Plant Groups.

Define plant groups by entering the following information:

• Plant group (enter a maximum of four characters)

• Description
