V_LMD_DEF_LANG - Define Default Language for Language-Dependent Texts

In this Customizing activity, you can define a default language for language-dependent texts such as product descriptions. If language-dependent texts cannot be retrieved in a driver's preferred language for the SAP Direct Distribution mobile app, these texts are displayed in the default language.

Note

The language of the mobile app is the language specified in the language settings of a driver's mobile device.

A driver displays a product on a mobile device. The driver language is German (DE); however, the product description is not available in the language German. The default language defined for language-dependent texts is English (EN). Therefore, the product description is displayed on the driver's mobile device in English.
