In this Customizing activity, you can define the settings that the system uses to calculate the requested delivery date (RDD) and the pricing date for sales orders during sales order entry.

The RDD can be calculated based on the order entry date plus the lead time in days and by considering the sales organization's factory calendar.

  1. Specify for which combination of the following entities the RDD determination settings apply:
  • Sales document type

  • Sales organization

  • Distribution channel

  • Division

  • Shipping condition

  1. Define the RDD determination settings by entering the following information:
  • Data source

LMD Visit List: Visit list information available in Last Mile Distribution
External Calculation: Specify this data source if BAdI: External Calculation of Requested Delivery Date is used.
  • Lead time in days (displayed on the details page)

  • Visit list type (optional)

This setting is relevant only for the data source LMD Visit List.
If a visit list type is not specified, the settings are valid for all visit list types.
  • Allow different RDD

Indicates whether the requested delivery date can be different to the date determined by the system. If this indicator is not set, it is not possible to adjust requested delivery dates manually.
  • Pricing date proposal

You can use the Pricing Date Proposalindicator to set a pricing date in the sales order. If this indicator is set, the pricing date corresponds to the RDD. Otherwise, the pricing date corresponds to the sales order entry date.

You want the RDD and pricing date to be calculated for sales document type ZOR, sales organization 1710, and shipping condition 01. The lead time in days should be 1.

You specify the following values:

  • Sales document type = ZOR
  • Sales organization = 1710
  • Distribution channel: " " (leave empty)
  • Division: " " (leave empty)
  • Shipping condition = 01
  • Lead time in days = 1
  • Allow different RDD: " " (leave empty)
  • Pricing date proposal = X (select)
