V_LMD_VL_PRPPLAN - Define Product Proposal Unit Profiles

In this Customizing activity, you can define product proposal unit profiles by entering a product proposal unit type and a description.

A product proposal unit is a freight unit without a preceding document (such as a sales order or a delivery) that contains products generated from a forecast calculation, for example, by using the intelligent product proposal feature as described in the organizational activity Settings for Product Proposals.

Hence, the product proposal unit is defined in the Transportation Management configuration and acts as a placeholder for potential future sales orders.

Once a product proposal unit profile has been defined and the visit list planning report has been executed, you can assign this product proposal unit profile to a visit list planning profile.

You have defined service types in transaction MM01 - Create Material.

Enter the relevant product proposal unit type and product proposal unit description.
