V_LSO_CUSTCATDV - Define Default View for Course Catalog

In this Customizing activity, you define the default view for the course catalog. There are two possible views, the hierarchical view (value 'H') and the list view (value 'L'). If you do not specify a value then the list view is the default view. Learners can override this setting by selecting the default view in their settings.

The following are the technical values which correspond to this setting in the LSO_CUSTOMIZE_C customizing table:

• GRPID = LSOFE

• SEMID = CATDV

The value is stored in GSVAL. The default value will be 'L', which means that the list view is the default view for the course catalog.

Set the value to 'H' if you want the hierarchical view as the default view for the course catalog.
