SUBST_MERGE_LIST - merge external lists to one complete list with #if... logic for R3up General Data in Customer MasterThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
In this Customizing activity, you configure various settings of the activation process:
- You can configure the parallelization for the activation adapters:
- The activation is running without configuring the parallelization for the activation adapter. Nevertheless, you can configure the number of parallel processes to improve the performance of the consolidation process.
- You specify the types of activation dependent on different record types and whether these records are considered as correct or incorrect by a validation step that is part of the activation process:
- New Record
- Single record in the process data without any match, neither in process nor in the active data.
- Updated Record
- Single record or duplicates in the process data with a match in the active data.
- Match Group
- Several records as duplicates in the process data without a match in the active data.
- You specify whether the validationwhich is part of the activation uses BRFplus rules and MDG, central governance rules.
- If you are using Master Data Consolidation with MDG you can choose to activate with change requests. In this case the system determines the amount of change requests automatically depending on the change request type.
In the Customizing activity Specify Process Template you specify whether and in what configuration you use the activationas part of the consolidation process.
If you use MDG, consolidation without activating MDG, central governance the possibilities for this configuration step are reduced, as less activation targets are offered and no selection fields for Change Request Type are displayed.
