V_MDC_CONFIG_STD - Configure Parallelization for Standardization

In this Customizing activity, you configure the parallelization of the standardizationadapters for key mapping, value mapping and the business rule framework plus (BRF+).

For further information on these adapters, see the Customizing activitySpecify Adapters.

The process step standardizationis used for example to enrich and normalizeaddress data by the system. In this case an additional check ensures that specific address related data, such as streets or cities really exist.

In the Customizing activity Specify Process Template, you specify whether and in what configuration you use the standardization adapter as part of the consolidation process.

The standardization runs without further configuration. Nevertheless you can configure the number of parallel processes to improve the performance of the consolidation process.

1. Choose New Entries.
2. Enter a Configuration ID and the corresponding description.
3. In the Number of Processesfield enter the number of processes you want to be processed in parallel.
4. Enter the Prefix of the Queue Name.

• Enrichment: A record only contains the postal code 69190. The corresponding city Walldorfis added by the standardization.

• Normalization: Wood Street is converted to Woodstr.
