In this Customizing activity, you can define an identifier for the promotion pricing service (PPS) and maintain the relevant RFC destination as well as the interface version of the PPS. This Customizing activity is relevant for both Retail: Omnichannel Promotion Pricing (OPP) and Omnichannel Sales Promotions, depending on what you use.

Preconditions for Retail: Omnichannel Promotion Pricing (OPP):

In transaction SM59, you have defined the required RFC destination to call the PPS.

This RFC destination must be configured as follows:

  • Type: G (HTTP Connection to External Server)
  • Technical Settings> Target System Settings> Host:
  • Technical Settings> Target System Settings > Port:
  • Technical Settings> Target System Settings> Path Prefix: /restapi
  • Logon & Security> Logon Procedure> Logon with User: Basic Authentication (User and Password specified)
  • Logon & Security> Security Options: SSL Active

In addition, the following settings are strongly recommended:

  • Special Options> HTTP Cookies> Yes (All)
