V_PSSC_DDT_RANK - Maintain Ranking of Deduction Types

In this Customizing activity, you define the ranking of deduction types.

There is only one deduction type list available for all business processes. This means that, technically, deduction types relevant for pensions, for example, can be applied to a maternity leave business scenario, but this would be wrong from a business perspective and should not be allowed.

You have defined deduction types in Customizing for Public Sector Management under Social Services -> Net Calculation -> Maintain Deduction Types.

Rule-based deduction types require an implementation of the BAdI definition found in Customizing for Public Sector Management under Social Services -> Gross Entitlement Calculation -> Business Add-Ins (BAdIs) -> BAdI: Gross Deduction Calculation.
