Assign generic attributes to sales organizations and distribution channels.

In this activity, you can assign the generic attribute to a distribution chain - that is a sales organization and a distribution channel - as well as to an identifier of a promotion pricing service.

You have defined the generic attribute names in the omnichannel promotion pricing service because you must use the same names in omnichannel sales promotions.

You have defined the fields that are used for the generic attributes in a request which is sent to the promotion pricing service in configuration activity Define Fields Used for Generic Attributes.

1. Choose an identifier of a promotion pricing service (PPS ID).
2. Choose a sales organization and a distribution channel.

Note: If you want the assignment to be valid for all sales organizations or distribution channels, you can leave the respective field blank.

The system prevents you from entering distribution channel if no sales organization has been selected.

1. Choose a generic attribute name.

Recommendation: Don't assign more than 10 generic attributes per attribute type to the same distribution chain as this may cause performance issues during the calculation in the omnichannel promotion pricing service.

1. Save your settings.
