Using this Customizing activity, you group the combinations of tax codes, transaction keys, and indicators for total/debit/credit balances in a base amount group.

If the amount for a combination is also needed in subtotals, amounts carried forward, and totals, then you can also enter the other groups involved. You do the same for the tax amounts.
