Define business partners and delivery types for each reference movement type to override those defined on warehouse number level.

In this and the adjacent activities, you can define standard values for deliveries that reflect intended inventory changes, and then communicate these changes to the decentralized WMS.

At the warehouse number level, you define the following parameters:

  • Inbound deliveries: Vendor
  • Outbound deliveries: Ship-to party, shipping point, sales organization, distribution channel, and division

Through the reference movement type, you can override standard values that were defined at the warehouse number level. These include:

  • Inbound deliveries: Vendor
  • Outbound deliveries: Ship-to party
  • Delivery type

Through the delivery type, you can control at the reference movement type level whether an inbound or an outbound delivery is to be generated.

Define values for vendor and/or ship-to party for each reference movement type if you want to use values different than those set for set for each warehouse number.

If you want to use different delivery types than those provided by SAP, you can replace the pre-filled delivery types for each reference movement type with the ones you prefer to use.
