V_T5Q30 - Maintain Cessation Codes

In this Customizing activity, you define the reasons for the actions used to process terminations and redundancies. You also assign a category to each of the reasons to indicate if the termination is due to death or redundancy and so on. Moreover, you specify a cessation code.

Note

The system reflects any changes or additions that you make to the entries in this view in the Reasons for Action (T530) table.

You have defined your personnel actions.

The standard SAP System has the following pre-defined cessation codes:

V,,- Voluntary Cessation
I,,- Ill Health
D,,- Deceased
R,,- Redundancy
F,,- Dismissal
C,,- Contract Cessation
T,,- Transfer

1. Click New Entries.
2. Specify a code for the action type.
3. Provide a name for the action type.
4. Specify a reason for the action.
5. Select a pre-defined reason category.
6. Specify a pre-defined cessation code.
7. Save your entries.
