Attachment Types for Relocation Accounting and Relocation Request in ESS

In this Customizing activity, you determine which attachment types the applicant can or must upload in relocation accounting or in the relocation request. You can define the attachment types so that they are always marked as mandatory for the applicant, or marked as mandatory depending on certain relocation data. This is only relevant for the Web applications; the attachments can only be displayed in the transaction Manage Relocation Costs (PRREL).

These attachments are ArchiveLink attachments. The document type,, HRITRV_UPL is linked with the business object types BUS2089B and BUS2089.

If attachment types have been defined as mandatory ("required entry field" options), the check is performed only once the applicant has chosen Save and Send for Approval.

1. Select the trip provision variant.
2. Assign a 2-digit alphanumeric key for the attachment type.
3. Select the relocation schema, for example, UZ for a domestic relocation or UA for an international relocation.

Caution: If you choose a schema for trips or separation allowance events, or no schema at all, the system ignores this attachment type.

1. Select a Condition for Required Entry from the dropdown box.
2. Use the Bill. indicator to specify whether the attachment type is only offered for selection in relocation accounting and not in the relocation request.
3. Enter a description.

For non-self-service domestic relocations, the applicant must obtain two forwarding quotations and upload them as attachments. The following attachment types are defined in trip provision variant D1:
