SAP E-Book

This Customizing activity is where authorization-sensitive fields can be maintained. These are fields whose contents is only to be changed online by specific authorized users.

If the content of specific fields is only to be changed by specific authorized users, these fields can be entered here and, depending on the trip schema, assigned to an authorization group. These fields are then displayed as ready for input for only those users with authorization for the object via the authorization object P_TR_GROUP. These fields are not displayed as ready for input for all other users.

This is only relevant for fields that are generally ready for input according to general field control. This Customizing activity is not relevant for fields that are simply display fields or are hidden according to general field control.

Authorization-dependent field control is only possible for fields that can be controlled via the transactions FITVFELD and FITVFELD_WEB.

In general, all fields are displayed in accordance with the general field control, without an additional authorization check.

Maintain the technical field names (different for SAP GUI transactions and browser applications (WDA, Fiori) and assign them to an authorization group. If the key field Trip Schema is left blank, the entry is valid for all trip schemas for which no special entry exists.

For example, significant official interest for full mileage reimbursement should only be able to be set by specific users. In this case, the field should generally be ready for input. The field is then assigned to authorization group A, for example, at the same time. A value for the authorization object P_TR_GROUP for group A must then be created. This is then added to the roles of the users who are to be able to set significant official interest. The checkbox is displayed as ready for input for these users, and as not ready for input for all other users.
