In this Customizing activity, you assign plan characteristics to health plans or plan options.

You have made the Customizing settings for health plans and options under Health Plans.

To assign plan characteristics to health plans or plan options, proceed as follows:

1. Choose New Entries.
2. Select a health plan in the Plan field.
3. Select a health plan option in the Option field.

If the same characteristic applies to all health plan options, leave the Options field empty for the selected health plan.

1. Select a plan characteristic in the Plan Characteristic field.

If more than one characteristic applies to the same health plan or plan option, create multiple entries for the health plan for each characteristic.

1. Define the period for which the assignment is valid by specifying a start and end date.
2. Save your entries.
