You can use this Customizing activity to activate a switch, which enables you to maintain vacancies directly using a roadmap process. A new roadmap step is added if vacancies have to be maintained.
This switch has two values: 'X' (true) and ' ' (false). If you want to maintain vacancies in the PAOM Roadmap Application, set the switch to 'true'. The vacancies are processed via a workflow if the switch is set to 'false'.
