In this IMG activity, you customize rules for calculating averages, as stipulated by Kazakh legislation. For more information on the average calculation process, see the Calculation of Averages (KZAVE) function.

Use the calculation rules in this Customizing activity to:

• determine a relevant period for average calculation that is based on a current period.

• specify an alternative wage type from which the system can generate the rate. Use it when you cannot calculate averages via cumulations.

• clarify if it is necessary to freeze the rate for the duration of an event created in infotype 0014.

Perform Customizing activity Create Calculation Rules for Averages.

1. Enter a rule for calculating averages.
2. Define the validity period.
3. Specify a relevant period.
4. Enter an additional wage type, if needed.
5. Select to freeze the rate for an event, in needed.
