You can use this Customizing activity to perform the two configuration steps for the wage type information report.

Before running the wage type information report, you must define what type of wage type configuration is displayed. A wage type business category is a logical grouping of wage type characteristics. Business categories are used to structure the report's output.

SAP delivers some business categories as reference content. Some of those business categories are valid for all countries/regions (such as cumulations, deductions, processing class, valuation bases, average bases), others are country/region-specific. You can also define your own business categories according to your requirements.

One or more tables/views provide information about each business category.

In general, once you add a table/view, the wage type informationcontained in that table/view is displayed in the report as it is in the database. You do not need to do anything else here.

If you want to display the wage type informationcontained in a table/view in a different way, you can use a BAdI to simplify the way in which the data is displayed and read. The following BAdI definitions are available:

Specifically, for table T512W, you can use a logical view. For more information, see V_T599I- Parameters that control logical views for T512W.

If you want to hide or change the order of columns in an ALV grid, you can change the ALV layout. In an ALV grid, all table columns are displayed as a default. Nevertheless, it is possible to define and use another layout which is user-specific.

The output of the wage type information reportis configured in two steps:

1. Maintain the business categories that are valid for your payroll localization. Check the standard business categories delivered by SAP or maintain your own business categories.

Note: The business category itself is independent of the logon language and is thus not translated.

1. Assign tables and views providing the wage type informationto a business category. You must choose whether you enter the name of a table/maintenance view or the name of a logical view, because you cannot enter both in a single entry. Several entries can relate to a single business category.

For the business category CUMULATIONS:

You can only add tables/views with the domain MOLGAfor the HCM Localizationor with the domain LGARTfor the wage type.
