In this Customizing activity, you assign steps to a payroll schedule template. You also apply rules to the steps and enter the number of days required to complete each step.

You have defined the following:

• You have created a payroll schedule template in the Customizing activity Define Payroll Schedule Template.

• The steps required for a schedule in the customizing activity Define Steps for Payroll Schedule Template.

• The rules for calculating the start dates for payroll schedule steps in the customizing activity Define Rules for Start Date Generation in Schedule.
