In this activity, you specify the defaults for additional working hours (AWH) by daily work schedule (DWS). The activity enables you to enter different defaults for regular work days and public holidays.

The entries that you make here are used in the Additional Working Hours (3405) infotype when a user maintains an IT3405 record. More specifically, they are used to:

• Input default AWH values automatically for the user

• Control the user's input, so that the additional working hours entered are kept within a defined threshold, including the system response when the user violates the threshold
