In this IMG activity, you maintain the cost rule variant settings for benefit calculations if your organization uses percentage of the base salary to calculate Benefit Cost Rule.

Note

By default, the system calculates Benefit Cost Rule based on amounts.

In the standard system, the following standard cost rule variants are provided:

  • UN01
Employee percentage of salary and Employer cost calculation Provider -Employee Cost with regarding Cost Limit at 85% of Provider Cost.
  • UN02
Employee and Employer percentage of benefit salary and Provider Cost calculation as Employee + Employer Cost.
  1. Select the cost rule variant.
  2. If you want to enter new settings for a rule, select New Entries.
  3. Enter the validity period of the cost rule.
  4. Enter the cost rule indicator for employee in the CstRule EEfield.
  5. Enter the cost rule indicator for employer in the CstRule ERfield.
  6. Enter the cost rule indicator for the provider in CstRule AC field.
  7. Enter the cost rule indicator for Post Tax in CstRule PTax field.
  8. Select the SR indicator if you want to maintain an upper limit for employee contribution.
  9. Enter the percentage cost limit for employee contribution in CstLimfield.
  10. Save your entries.
