This activity is only relevant if you have developed your own function modules and used them as accrual methods in the old Accrual Engine:

In the S/4HANA Accrual Engine, ABAP classes are used as accrual methods. Function modules are not supported any more. The logic that is implemented in such customer-developed function modules has to be re-developed in ABAP classes.

For all accrual methods that you are using in some accrual objects, an ABAP class must be entered in this activity.

To check whether you are using customer-developed function modules in accrual methods, start this activity: If the column ABAP Class for Accrual Calc. is empty in some row(s), the corresponding function module that is contained in the column Function Module (old Accr. Engine) must be re-developed, that is, transformed into an ABAP class.

The SAP-delivered standard accrual methods are automatically migrated to ABAP classes, that is, the customizing migration program enters an ABAP class in the affected accrual methods.

Only customer-developed function modules cannot be migrated automatically.

If you need to develop ABAP classes, you can have a look at the source code of the other classes, for example class CL_ACE_CFG_METHOD_LINEAR_P1.
Your class(es) must include the interface IF_ACE_CFG_METHOD.
