Accrual methods define the algorithm how the periodic amounts are calculated by the Accrual Engine.

In this activity, you define your accrual methods that specify how amounts are to be accrued, for example, straight-line or declining balance accruals. You must assign a class specifying the calculation of accruals to each accrual method.

Caution

The class for an accrual method must have a defined interface. You can use class CL_ACE_CFG_METHOD_LINEAR_P1 as a template.

1. Enter a key with two or more digits in the accrual method field.

2. In the Function Module Name field, enter the function module for your accrual method.

3. In the Text field, enter a text for your accrual method.

4. Save your accrual method.
