V_TAC_MAP - Assign Tactic Types and Tactics to Promotions

In this Customizing activity, you can assign offer tactic types and tactics to promotion header attributes.
You assign tactic types and tactics to promotions based on the following promotion header attributes:
- Promotion Type
- Sales Organization
- Distribution Channel
- Media Type
- Customer Type
If you leave one or more of these fields empty for a particular tactic assignment, then the respective tactic type and tactic will be assigned to promotions regardless of the actual value entered in that field in the ERP promotion. In this case, more than one tactic type and tactic combination can be valid for one single promotion.
This activity allows you to choose between a specific, unique assignment logic that results in only one tactic and tactic type combination per promotion, or a generic, cumulative mapping logic that can result in more than one tactic and tactic type combination per promotion.
The tactic types and tactics created in the ERP system should be the same as the tactic types and tactics that exist in the target system.
