V_TFMCA_SN_TYPE - Define TTF Versioning Time

In this activity you create the snapshot types used for the versioning of TTF-based forms (Transparent Table for Forms). A snapshot contains all forms in a form bundle with the same version logically and is linked to a business transaction. The versioning is automatically created when a business transaction is executed for a form bundle and your implementation of event P354indicates that this transaction is relevant for a snapshot.

You can enhance the snapshot-based versioning for TTF-based forms by setting the Activate Phaseless Forms indicator on level of a form version in activity Define Forms

Versioning of a form bundle is only supported if all included forms are TTF-based. For more information about TTF, see the Customizing documentation Define Forms.

The following settings need to be made for the form bundle versioning:

• Create a snapshot type for a transaction in which a version is to be created automatically during form bundle processing.

The short text of a snapshot type is displayed in the SAP NetWeaver Business Client UI as a version description to identify the type of form bundle version.

• In the business transaction for form bundle processing you create an event implementation based on the function module FMCA_SAMPLE_P354 including the snapshot type.
