In this IMG activity, you can specify the events that the system is to default in trading contracts by assigning the event type to the trading contract type. When setting the process indicator, you can decide whether the system is to default the events on the purchasing side or sales side of a trading contract, or on both sides.

The system copies the event rules to the follow-on documents of the trading contract. The event rules determine which event types are required or forbidden in nominations using the follow-on documents of the trading contract.

You have defined events in Customizing for the Industry Solution Oil & Gas (Downstream) by choosing TD (Transportation and Distribution) → TD Bulk Shipment → Event Handling.
