WA_MN_MD_002 - Specify Screen Control for Each Disposal Document Type

In this IMG activity, you specify for each disposal document type which tab pages and screen areas are available to you for data entry.

Note:

In the disposal documents component, you can choose between a display with tab pages and a linear display with corresponding screen areas instead of tab pages on one screen. The same screen is used for a tab page and the corresponding screen area. For reasons of simplification, only tab pages will be referred to below.

Proceed as follows to specify your own tab pages:

1. Create your own program for the screen on which the data in disposal documents of the disposal document type is processed. To do this, copy the programm SAPLEHSWA_220 with all the screens to your namespace.
2. Specify the new program in the IMG activity Specify Disposal Document Types. For more information, see the documentation for this IMG activity.
3. Create screens for your own required tab pages. For more information, see EHS_WA_DYNPRO_EXIT.
4. Call this IMG activity.
5. Choose Specify Screen Selection for Disposal Documents.
6. Enter the data for the new screen and save your entries.

Proceed as follows to specify the tab pages for data entry for a disposal document type:

Note:

The standard disposal document type GEN is not specific to a particular jurisdiction. It therefore contains most screens and fields so that you can map most processes and functions with this disposal document type.

1. Choose Specify Screen Control for Each Disposal Document Type.
2. Enter the disposal document type and tab page that you require for data entry for this disposal document type.
3. Enter a text in the logon language as the title of the tab page.
4. Repeat the last two steps for all tab pages that you wish to have available for the disposal document type. Note that a maximum of 15 tab pages for tab page display and 13 screen areas for linear display can be displayed in the standard system.
5. Specify the sequence in which you want the tab pages to be displayed by defining the sort sequence using ascending numbers.
6. Save your entries.
7. If you want to enter the tab page texts in other languages, proceed as follows:
1. Select the line whose tab page text you want to enter in another language.
2. Choose Edit -> Translation.
3. Choose the required language.
4. Enter the text in this language and save.
5. Repeat these steps for other tab page texts and for other languages.
