This process is used when the same commodity is sold and purchased from the same business partner in separate transactions. To reduce administrative time and costs, this process offsets the contract quantity of the existing trading contract and purchase-sided trading contract.

To create washout contract, settlement amount needs to be maintained. This is stored in header condition type assigned to corresponding pricing procedure. When multiple header condition types are assigned to pricing procedure, first condition type will be used in washout as default. With this default customizing, you can assign condition type should be used instead of first entry.

Requirements

Washout contract type needs to be created

Header condition type needs to be assigned.
