In this Customizing activity, you define the allowed combinations of contract types and settlement document types for unplanned expenses.

When you create an unplanned expense document, there is a check on entry whether the settlement document type is allowed for the contract type. In the input help for the settlement document types during document entry, only these allowed settlement document types appear.

You can only assign settlement document type which are maintained as supplier billing documents or as expense settlements.
