In this Customizing activity, you define and configure settlement variants for the settlement of condition contracts.
You control the use of settlement variants by assigning condition contract types to them.
For combinations of condition contract types and condition contract process variants, you specify the alternative settlement process type and alternative settlement document type. If the system does not find an entry for a condition contract type and condition contract process variant, it searches for an additional entry with initial process variant.
You have defined the condition contract process variants for which you want to assign alternative settlement settings.
To define settlement variants:
- Choose Settlement Variants in the dialog structure and enter a description for the new settlement variant.
- Select the settlement variant and choose Condition Contract Types in the dialog structure to assign the condition contract types for which you want to use the settlement variant.
- Choose Settlement Settings in the dialog structure to enter the settlement settings for the settlement variant. For combinations of condition contract types and condition contract process variants, specify the following:
