In this Customizing activity, you assign partner functions to fields representing predefined business partner relations. This configuration allows you to identify relevant source documents for the business volume determination in special settlement scenarios such as royalties settlement or sales commissions.

Identification runs as follows:

• In the source document, you assign a partner for the partner function specified here.

• The field for the predefined business partner relation is used in the relevant business volume table and in used field combination. This allows you to specify partners having the specific business partner relation as selection criterion in condition contracts.

You have made the necessary partner determination settings for the source documents.

DDIC structure WB2_S_PARTNER_FIELDS Fields for Predefined Partner Relations comprises the predefined business partner relations.

In the configuration delivered as of standard in S/4HANA, this feature is only supported for sales orders and billing documents as the source for the business volume.

Choose New Entries, enter the field name for the predefined business partner relation, and assign the partner function used for the source documents.
Choose ENTER. The system displays the partner type of the partner function together with the corresponding description as information.
