In this Customizing activity, you can assign a logistical option group for the purchase side and the sales side to the combination of trading contract type and item category.

Depending on the side of the trading contract type - purchase, sales, or both - only the corresponding logistical option group is taken into account.

  • A trading contract with both sides has two new tabs on item level if both logistical optional groups are assigned.
  • A sales-side trading contract has one new tab on item level if a logistical option group for the sales side is assigned.
  • A purchase-side trading contract has one new tab on item level if a logistical option group for the purchase side is assigned.

For each side, it is possible to exclude the maintenance of logistical options for BOM (bill of material) components. The new tabs are only visible in the trading contract on item level if a logistical option group is assigned to the corresponding side.
