WCF_BSPWDVC_RF_PROFC - Maintain Runtime Framework Profile

In this IMG activity, you can create and maintain your own runtime framework profiles. This IMG acitivity is relevant for you if you use an application that is based on the WebUI framework.

Define Runtime Framework Profile

Enter a technical name and a description for your runtime framework profile and make the appropriate assignments.

• Interaction Layer
  In this area of the screen, you choose whether a separate display mode should be available for the UI that uses the framework.

• Work Area Definition
  In this area of the screen, you define for which view set area the breadcrumbs are to be recorded for.

• Choose the Business Server Page (BSP) application in which the work area's view set is located.
  The view set that is referred to is the runtime repository view set that contains the application view set.

• Enter the technical name of the view set for which the breadcrumbs should appear.

• Enter the technical name of the view set's view area for which the breadcrumbs should be recorded.

• History Settings
  In this area of the screen, you determine the behaviour of the breadcrumb history.

• You can choose between two history types: The simple history stack records breadcrumbs in the order of their appearance. The advanced history logic avoids double entries which might lead to reordering.

• Choose the events that lead to a breadcrumb. In full mode, each change in the screen setup leads to a new breadcrumb. In normal mode, only full page changes and application-triggered breadcrumbs are recorded. In application-based mode, only the application can write breadcrumbs according to their own rules.
  Note
  Full mode and normal mode only work correctly if they are supported by the application.

• Choose the maximum number of recorded breadcrumbs.
  Recommendation
  If you accept the standard value 0, there is no limit to the recorded breadcrumbs. However, since the breadcrumb records need memory, we recommend that you choose a maximum number.

Switch Controller

You have the option of switching the original controller of a custom controller to your own controller. These settings are only effective for global custom controllers.

Pre-loaded Custom Controllers

If you want to use additional custom controllers that should be automatically loaded at system start, enter them here. These settings are only effective for global custom controllers.
