WD_GLOBAL_SETTINGS - Maintain Global Parameters

Define system-wide settings of cross-application parameters such as theme, session keep-alive, enablement of personalization, and many more.
The necessary authorizations are:
- WD_ACTVT: 'Change global setting' in authorization object S_WDR_ADM
- AUTHPGMID: 'R3TR', AUTHOBJTYP: 'WDYA', 'AUTHOBJNAM: 'WD_GLOBAL_PARAMETERS' in authorization object S_START
These authorizations are included in role SAP_BC_WD_ADAPT_ADMIN.
Information about each parameter can be found using the Info button.
To change a parameter, choose Edit, make the changes, and save.
Note
For technical reasons, parameters which are no longer supported are displayed as deprecated. If you are still using these deprecated parameters, switch to a supported alternative.
Most parameters can also be used within the application URL, or as application parameters in the Web Dynpro application or Web Dynpro application configuration.
Settings are evaluated in the following order:
- URL parameter
- Application configuration
- Application
- Global setting
