This IMG activity enables you to define applications and to specify which outbound messages they should receive. You can also specify which filters should be used for processing the messages for an application.

You use service implementations (own or supplied by SAP) with appropriate service operations (own or supplied by SAP) for which filter objects (own or supplied by SAP) are available.

Define an application and enter a text with a description of the appropriate semantic meaning.

Optionally, define the languages that you want to take into account for language-dependent texts in the service implementations.

Assign the service implementations that you require for the application. Only the service implementations assigned here are subsequently available for the application in transaction WESOUT. If required, deactivate optional nodes if you do not require their data in the receiving application.

Assign filter objects and filters that you want to take into account during processing of the data for the application.

Optionally, you can deactivate the filters for individual service implementations.

One BC set each is available for the integration scenarios:

  • POS (interconnection of cash registers) and
  • ISFP (store-internal production)

You can activate these BC sets to import the settings they contain.
