Tagged history allows managers to select configured days or weeks associated with a specific event to use in their volume and demand forecast. For recurring events, managers can choose the transaction history from the previous events to generate a demand forecast for the upcoming event. Use this activity to define tagged history sets.

If tagged history falls within the dates of a trended forecast, the tagged history data is not be used as the forecast data is skewed based on the specific tagged event.

The tagged history sets you define in this activity are available to managers when performing forecast calculations through the manager's portal. When a manager chooses the configured day or week associated with a specific event, the historical data for that day or week is used in their current week's forecast. As events might be location or region specific, managers can choose to not select the tagged history data.
