You can define a net indicator that allows you to take returns into consideration during forecast and work load generation and forecast adjustments. The net indicator is comprised of a gross indicator and a returns indicator. Use this activity to define the net indicator.

You have previously defined the volume indicators you want to include as the gross and returns indicators using the activity Define Volume Indicators.

  1. Choose New Entries to define a new net indicator definition profile, or select an existing profile to maintain its values.
  2. For a new entries, enter the net indicator External Key.
  3. Enter the short description the system uses for display purposes.
  4. Optionally, enter a long description
  5. Save your entries.
  6. Choose the Net Indicator profile and double-click Gross Indicator.
  7. Choose New Entries to define a new gross indicator, or select an existing gross indicator to maintain its values.
  8. For a new entries, choose the indicator you want to include as the gross indicator from field help.
  9. Enter the validity start and end dates. Use the end date 12/31/9999 for an open-ended validity range.
  10. Enter the short description the system uses for display purposes.
  11. Optionally, enter a long description.
  12. Save your entries.
  13. Double-click Returns Indicator.
  14. Choose New Entries to define a new returns indicator, or select an existing returns indicator to maintain its values.
  15. For a new entries, choose the indicator you want include as the returns indicator from field help.
  16. Enter the validity start and end dates. Use the end date 12/31/9999 for an open-ended validity range.
  17. Enter the short description the system uses for display purposes.
  18. Optionally, enter a long description.
  19. Save your entries.
