In this Customizing activity, you define the pre-payroll calculation rules so that you are able to complete the mandatory Customizing activity Site Maintenance.

In this activity (Site Maintenance) you assign the rules you have defined in this Customizing activity (Define Pre-Payroll Calculation rules) to Organizations using a location profile. When these rules are configured, the system uses Scheduled Action Settings (formerly known as Upload Download Action) to dowload them to the iTime Clock Administration.

A pre-payroll file can be created from punch data entered by

  • Employees who use the iTime Clock to punch into the system

Or

  • Managers who use the iTime Clock Administrator function in SAP Workforce Management (SAP WFM)

You can access the pre-payroll calculation options in the SAP WFM manager's portal in iTime Clock Administration. The Customizing settings you make here determine how rules are defined.
