WFA_FISCAL - Define Fiscal Calendar Variants

Use this activity to define fiscal calendar variants. Fiscal calendar variant definitions allow you to customize your definition of the fiscal year, including the number of fiscal periods, and any special periods you wish to define.

Settings defined in this activity enable the system to select prior weeks for history when referencing months or years in the fiscal calendar.

You must have already defined your fiscal calendar variants in transaction Fiscal Year Variants (OB29)

1. Choose New Entries to define a new fiscal calendar definition, or select an existing definition to maintain its values.
2. For a new entry, enter the Profile ID.
3. Enter the validity start and end dates. Use the end date 12/31/9999 for an open-ended validity range.
4. Choose the fiscal calendar variant(s) from field help. You can define up to six variants for each fiscal calendar definition.
5. Enter the short description the system uses for display purposes.
6. Optionally, enter a long description.
7. Save your entries.
