WFA_SENIORITYPRF - Define Seniority Date Preference

The system can use either the employee's hire date (the date on which the employee officially joins an organization) or start date (the date on which the employee actually starts working) as the basis for determining employee seniority. In this activity, you define which date should be used.

1. Choose New Entries to define a new general settings definition profile, or select an existing profile to maintain its values.
2. For a new entry, enter the Seniority Date Preference ID.
3. Enter the validity start and end dates. Use the end date 12/31/9999 for an open-ended validity range.
4. Enter the short description the system uses for display purposes.
5. Choose the date to be used to determine employee seniority from field help.
6. Optionally, enter a long description.
7. Save your entries.
