WFMTM_RESTR_PROFILE - Define Restriction Profile

In this IMG Activity you define time restriction profiles. Restrictions are conditional limits placed upon punches. Typcial restrictions include prohibiting punches for employees who have not been scheduled for shifts, punches that are too late for their shifts, or too early for their shifts.

Use this activity to define how the system should handle such situations, and which messages (if any) should be sent to the employee.

You have defined at least one restriction rule to be applied to the restriction profile.

1. Choose New Entries to define a new restriction profile, or select an existing profile to maintain its values.
2. Define a unique identifier to the profile, which will be used for display and identification purposes.
3. Select the Block Unscheduled? check box to prohibit employees from punching in for shifts for which they have not been scheduled.
4. In the Restriction Message field, enter the text to be displayed to the employee whose punch has been blocked.
5. Enter short and long descriptions of the restriction profile.
6. Choose Restriction Rule.
7. Select a restriction rule from the available choices to apply the rule to this profile.
8. Save your entries.
