WFM_003 - Define Appointment Interval Groups

Use

In this activity, you define the appointment interval groups and appointment intervals, which are required for arranging appointments in a CRM system, for example.

Requirements

You use the CRM appointment scheduling scenario and have set it up accordingly.

Standard settings

Activities

  1. To create an appointment interval group, choose New Entries.
  2. Use the possible entries help to select an application category.
  3. Assign a key of your choice and enter a text.
  4. To create appointment intervals for an appointment interval group, select the relevant appointment interval group and choose Appointment Intervals.
  5. Choose New Entries.
  6. Enter an interval number of your choice as a key. Use an ascending numerical sequence.
  7. Enter the start time, the duration you want, and a unit of measurement.
  8. Save your data.

Example

To divide a day into time intervals you could create an appointment interval group for mornings and one for afternoons. For mornings you enter the appointment intervals 8 a.m. with a duration of two hours and 10 a.m. with a duration of two hours.
