Use this IMG Activity to define the daybreaker, or the time when one business day ends and the next begins. All time and day sequences in the system are based on the daybreaker and weekbreaker definitions. (Define the weekbreaker in the IMG Activity Define Start of Week.) For example, the first day of the schedule week is defined with this activity.

The daybreaker could be different than the time a calendar uses to indicate when one day ends and the next starts (that is, 12:00 midnight). For example, if your daybreaker is 04:00 (4:00 AM), and your weekbreaker is Sunday, then each business day starts at 04:00, and your business week starts at 04:00 Sunday morning. The consequence is that a shift could span multiple calendar days without spanning multiple days in the schedule period.

Note that you can define only one daybreaker for your organization.

Enter the time the system should use as the daybreaker. The time should be entered in HH:MM format. Note that the system considers only AM times to be valid entries (IE, from 12:00 AM to 11:45 AM).
