Use

In this activity you set up the RFC destinations for the application systems. You require these connections to transfer information about changes to objects from WFD Server to the various application systems.

There are two types of target systems:

  • R/3 Target Systems
  • R/3 ERP backend, BW, HCM, or your SAP Workforce Deployment application host

  • Non-R/3 Target Systems
  • Mobile Client User Administration

  • SAP Internet Pricing and Configurator

  • Index Management Service

  • Replication and Realignment Queue Processing

  • External Interfaces for IDocs and XML (XIF Adapter)

Requirements

You have created RFC logon users in your respective target systems, such as the CRM server and the R/3 backend ERP system.

Trace This optional flag enables access to a diagnostic tool.
Load Distribution Select a number to define a load distribution for this connection.
Target host Enter the name of the target system. If you do not know the name of the system, select the relevant system from your SAP Logon window. Enter the target system, and copy the name displayed in the Message Server field.

Description Enter a useful description for the connection.
Language This optional entry represents the system language.
Client Use the possible entries function to select the correct client. Make sure that the client corresponds to the system for data download.
User Enter a user name that has been created in the target system with the corresponding authorization and password.
Password Enter the password corresponding to the user.
