WFM_GWKOM_042 - Check Settings for Data Flow Between Groupware and WFD Server

In this activity, you check the control for the data flow from the groupware to the WFD Server, which is specified by the WFD application.

Note: Control for the other direction (that is, which data is to be written from the WFD Server to Groupware) is not defined here. It is defined in the WFD applications themselves.

The project planning application for consultants (application category: PRP) specifies that the WFD Server is to take account of changes made to groupware appointment data from the groupware (groupware appointments correspond to assignments in PRP). Changes to the groupware task are to be ignored. Therefore, the responses 'Create Appointment', 'Change Appointment', and 'Delete Appointment' are selected for the PRP application category.

The CRM Service resource planning application (application category: CRMSV) specifies that the WFD Server is not to take account of changes made to CRMSV data from the groupware. Therefore, none of the options listed are selected as relevant for the CRMSV application category.

Check whether both these entries are available. No further action is necessary.
